Here are organizations that know us best. They have assessed us and believe in our call to start a new church in Irvine.

Over the last ten years Acts 29 has emerged from a small band of brothers to over 400 churches in the United States and networks of churches in multiple countries.

Acts 29 is not a model or a style. We have classical church plants with a preacher and a congregation, we have video-delivered sermons, we have missional community models, replants, and existing churches that want to plant churches with us. We seek to be a movement of church-planting networks – that is, decentralized and empowered networks to lead men of all different types of churches in order to make disciples of all people groups.

SRC Church Planting Network
The world needs Jesus Christ and you’ve been commissioned to reach it with the gospel. You need a family who will support you in fulfilling that call. Not just any family, but a network of seasoned church planters with a rich heritage of accomplishing what you have set out to do. We are that network.
The Spanish River Church Planting Network is a family of like-minded churches committed to advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting other theologically reformed, male elder-led, church-planting churches.
www.srcchurchplanting.com is our Network Base Camp. Here you’ll find useful church planting resources, information on how to join the Network, and profiles of our Network churches and church planters.

The Network
We strive to serve church planters, their families, and their congregations through ongoing mentoring, strategizing, and significant financial backing. We also provide accountability to spur our men and women in the Network to be gospel-centered, personally healthy, maritally faithful, scripturally rooted, and evangelically fervent.

Uniqueness
Unique to our Network is the high level of involvement of our SRC church community. We pray diligently, serve actively, and encourage faithfully those that are a part of our extended church planting family. We accomplish this through hosting Network retreats, launching programs and initiatives, and sending our members on vision and mission trips to support our efforts around the world.

Our vision is to DECLARE the truth about Jesus, TRAIN one another to Jesus, SERVE people like Jesus and PLANT churches where people need Jesus.

We see thousands of Christians in Orange County and the world committed to declaring the truth about Jesus, training one another to Jesus, serving each other and the world around us like Jesus and planting themselves, community groups and churches so others could come to know, love, follow and serve Jesus.

OUR STORY

We love Jesus. We love Seattle. We want Seattle – from the avenues to the alley ways – to love Jesus. This mutual love triggered a small group of people to begin praying about planting a new Jesus-loving, Bible-believing, Gospel-centered church in the heart of downtown Seattle. In the spring of 2010 this vision began to materialize. We gathered a launch community. We developed our vision, mission and values. We prayed, served and shared the gospel. Many moved downtown. God went before us in supernatural ways. Our communities multiplied. People met Jesus. Then, on April 3rd 2011, we marked our birth as a newly forming church in the heart of downtown Seattle. Every church is planted at some point, we just happened to be in 2011. Our prayer is that God would use DCC to sink the roots of the good news of Jesus Christ deep into the heart of this great city. We invite you to join us as this story, His story, continues to be written. “O Lord, [we] have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known…” (Hab 3:2)

David Fandey is the regional coordinator for Australasia for the Acts29 church planting network. The Fields is heavily invested in churches getting planted in Australasia, which includes Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

He travels to that part of the world regularly to coordinate this region, train, assess Church Planters, and conduct Church Planting conferences. The Fields also hosts Church Planting Interns from that part of the world regularly. In addition to that, The Fields is heavily funding this endeavor.

Center Church is also blessed to be partnered with:

Rothem Presbyterian Church – www.rohthem.com
Irvine Open Church – www.irvineopenchurch.org

Our partners are reputable and are integral to our work in Irvine. But we need even more partners in order to accomplish what God has called us to do.

Will you consider becoming a partner too?
